Delayed

  • Dead Island 2 Delayed

I am not sure if games are getting delayed nowadays or if they keep announcing an impossible launch date every time upon initial reveal.

This time around it is Dead Island 2 that is getting delayed. Publisher Deep Silver has announced that the game will now be released some time in 2016. They posted on Twitter the reasoning behind the delay, keeping in line with the statement that it is the fruit of their ambition,

"We have always set ourselves a big goal for Dead Island 2: to create the sequel that takes Dead Island to the next level. A game that takes what our fans tell us they love about Dead Island--multiple different characters to play with, co-op, and turning a paradise setting into a zombie slaughter melee--and a game that adds a ton more content and combat options on top of that."

Really, we can’t wait to show it to you."

It seems also the animated movie has also been delayed until 2016. The current release date is set to 29 April 2016. The new version of Ratchet & Clank will be boasting new levels, updated locations and new weapons.

  • Bloodborne Delayed Till March 2015

bloodborne-headerIt was announced through the PlayStation Blog that the highly anticipated and exclusive to the PS4 Bloodborne has been delayed.

The release date has been pushed to March 24, 2015. From Software stated "development continues unabated" they want to deliver the best possible experience. There's no doubt that fans will appreciate this delay for additional refinement and polish, especially since Bloodborne is a top-tier exclusive title.

This will hopefully satisfy the hardcore fans of Dark Souls. The silver lining is that this delay means more time to complete the upcoming games both AAA and indie.
